Anna Cecilia McWhirter, Ph.D., is a bilingual licensed psychologist who specializes in child and family interventions and psychological assessment for ADHD and learning disabilities. Anna Cecilia is a supervisor in the CDAC clinic, and provides supervision and training to advanced graduate students in school, clinical, and counseling psychology. Anna Cecilia graduated from the School Psychology doctoral program at the University of Oregon with a specialization in Spanish Language Psychological Services and Research, and is a “Triple Duck” having also received her Masters of Education in Counseling, Family, and Human Services with a specialization in Prevention Science, and her bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies at the University of Oregon.

Anna Cecilia has extensive experience working with children and families, such as providing community family therapy services, facilitating groups focused on parenting, social-emotional skills, emotion regulation, and nutrition, conducting psychodiagnostic and behavioral assessment, and consultation. Anna Cecilia additionally conducts research on child and family interventions, parenting, and adolescent health. Her research and clinical interests include promoting family empowerment through effective and culturally appropriate assessment, intervention, parent training, and enhancing family mental and physical health and wellbeing.
