Anne Marie Mauricio

Dr. Anne Marie Mauricio is a Family Intervention Scientist and Associate Research Professor at the Prevention Science Institute. She is also faculty and Associate Director of the Prevention Science graduate program, and a clinical supervisor at the Child and Family Center at the HEDCO Clinic. Her professional career has focused on the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based interventions for children and families. More specifically, her research and practice interests focus on supporting uptake and implementation of evidence-based interventions with fidelity and quality, and she has served as a principal or co-investigator on several federally funded grants focused on translation of evidence-based interventions to real-world practice. Earlier in her career, her research focused on understanding the unique and moderating effects of individual and contextual factors that might contribute to interpersonal violence.

Dr. Mauricio is also a consultant and trainer for Northwest Prevention Science in Oregon. She has worked collaboratively with community partners to support implementation of the Family Check-Up intervention (https://fcu.uoregon.edu/) in community practice in the United States and internationally, and she has trained 100s of providers in the model. She is also a licensed psychologist and, consistent with her commitment to the scientist-practitioner model, she has spent many years engaged in clinical practice in predominantly community mental health working with children, families, and adults.
