Center for Healthy RelationshipsDr. Tiffany Brown (she/her) is a ‘double duck’ (BS and MEd) and received her doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy from Texas Tech University in 2009. She is the Clinical Director of the Couples and Family Therapy program and the Director of the Center for Healthy Relationships. She joined the faculty of the College of Education in 2008.
At HEDCO, Tiffany supports clients, student interns, and supervisors involved with the Center for Healthy Relationships. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a clinical member and approved supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Tiffany brings several areas of specialty to the HEDCO Clinic including couples therapy, grief, substance use and recovery, and self-harm. Currently, Tiffany is working on a few major projects that examine the role of mental health with female athletes. At the community level, she serves on the advisory board/leadership team for Courageous Kids, a local grief support program. Historically, she has served as a board member with multiple local and national groups including the Oregon Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (OAMFT), the Association of Recovery in Higher Education (ARHE), Carry it Forward, and Ophelia’s Place. When Tiffany is not working she can usually be found kayaking or finding the closest sporting event.
