SLHC Clinical Supervisor
Jessica is an experienced bilingual speech-language pathologist, she has specialized in the evaluation and treatment of diverse individuals across the lifespan with neurological, oropharyngeal, and development disorders. She completed the Spanish/English Bilingual Tract of the STEPS Multilingual & Multicultural Training Program at Indiana University as part of her training. Most recently, she has been working as an acute care therapist at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center and as an adjunct instructor at Minnesota State University. She served on Midwestern University’s Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Board to advise on cultural-linguistic diversity and equity issues. She is proud to bring her dedication to advancing cultural responsivity in therapeutic healthcare to her work as a pro-term instructor in the College of Education’s Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences.
