Tiffany Brown has been at the College of Education since 2002 and is the HEDCO Clinical Director, Couples and Family Therapy program. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a clinical member and approved supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She is a double duck, earning her B.S. and M.Ed. from the University of Oregon and her Ph.D. in Couples and Family Therapy from Texas Tech University.
Tiffany serves currenlty as a board member with the Oregon Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (OAMFT) and serves as the treasurer of the Association of Recovery in Higher Education (ARHE), a national board aimed at providing the education, resources and community connection needed to help change the trajectory of recovering student’s lives. She received specialized training in addiction and recovery through the Center for the Study of Addiction and Recovery(link is external) at Texas Tech University as part of her doctoral studies. During this time she trained with one of premier Collegiate Recovery Programs (CRP) in the country. CRP's are evidence based campus programs for addiction and recovery issues in the collegiate population. In addition, Tiffany brings to the HEDCO Clinic service specialization in the treatment of trauma, substance addictions, and self-harming behaviors.
